    Andrew J. Lautenbach received a BS in Business Administration, Finance, from the University of Colorado at Denver in 2002, and his law degree from the University of San Francisco in 2005.  Mr. Lautenbach is a Director at Starn O’Toole Marcus and Fisher, where he has practiced for over fifteen years and has developed a diverse practice that focuses primarily on complex commercial litigation matters.

    Mr. Lautenbach has vast experience in the mediation and arbitration context, including handling high stakes consumer protection disputes, complex disputes related to construction and development, disputes arising from real estate and other commercial transactions, lender liability matters, disputes related to the control of LLCs, partnerships, and other closely held entities, and disputes related to the management and operation of condominium projects and resorts.  Through his work on such matters, Mr. Lautenbach has earned a reputation for finding creative solutions to difficult problems, and for helping parties to efficiently move past counterproductive litigation that could otherwise be devastating to the individual parties and their businesses.

    Mr. Lautenbach holds Martindale-Hubbell’s® highest possible professional rating AV®. He has been selected to the Hawaii Super Lawyers® list each year since 2016, and was selected to the Hawaii Super Lawyers® list as a “Rising Star” in the area of business litigation from 2013-2015.
