Alan K. Lau is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara with a bachelor of arts in Business Economics. He received his law degree from Boston College Law School. Mr. Lau was an editor of the Boston College Law School Uniform Commercial Code Reporter-Digest.
Mr. Lau is a founding partner of Tsugawa Lau & Muzzi, LLLC, a law firm specializing in litigation and dispute resolution in the areas of real property, employment law, will, trust and family disputes, commercial and construction disputes. Mr. Lau’s practice has been wide spread and emphasized commercial, real estate, employment and family disputes. Mr. Lau also has vast experience with commercial leases. Mr. Lau has participated as an advocate or neutral in numerous mediations and serves as an arbitrator for the Hawaii State Bar Association and the Court Annexed Arbitration Program.
Mr. Lau has had extensive training in dispute resolution through the mediation training at the Mediation Center of the Pacific as well as the world renown Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law course on “Mediating the Litigated Case”.
