Jeffrey R. Windsor, Esq., is a mediator and attorney, practicing in Hawaii and California. He attained his B.A. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 1994, and J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2000.

Beginning his civil litigation practice in insurance defense, Mr. Windsor has defended large corporations, governmental entities, small businesses, architects, contractors, brokers, and individuals in construction defect, personal injury, non-disclosure, contract, fraud, and employment actions. Mr. Windsor has also represented plaintiffs in personal injury, construction defect, contract, bad faith, and employment actions. Admitted to practice in the state courts of Hawaii and California, and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California and the District of Hawaii, Mr. Windsor has tried cases to jury and bench verdicts and consistently obtained favorable results.

As a mediator, Mr. Windsor trained at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law, the University of California Hastings College of the Law, and with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. He is an alternative dispute resolution panelist, facilitator, and pro tem with the State Bar of California, Dispute Prevention and Resolution, Inc., of Hawaii, and with Northern California’s superior courts, bar associations, and resolution centers. He has mediated, litigated, managed, tried, arbitrated and settled hundreds of cases ranging from multi-party, complex actions to disputes before an action has been filed. Through his experience as a mediator and attorney, Mr. Windsor understands that civil litigation is often a war of attrition. He assists the parties in evaluating their respective positions and in cost-effectively achieving results. Mr. Windsor mediates cases in all areas of his commercial and civil litigation practice, including corporate and business disputes, insurance, construction, real estate, professional negligence, personal injury, and employment litigation, and he conducts elder care mediations and facilitated family meetings.
