Dianne Winter Brookins recently retired from the Honolulu office of Dentons US LLP. She began her legal career as a judge advocate in the Marine Corps, then spent several years litigating insurance coverage and other complex commercial disputes in Seattle and Honolulu. Earlier in her legal career, she served as an in-house associate general counsel to Hawaiian Electric Company, Inc., for five years. Since joining Alston Hunt Floyd & Ing in 2001 (which combined with Dentons US LLP in 2018), her practice has focused on resolving complex commercial disputes—through mediation, arbitration, litigation, and on appeal.
