Bruce McEwan has been mediating for over 30 years and is also experienced in arbitration and facilitation. He brings to mediation his over 40 years of experience as a manager and executive in private industry with extensive knowledge of all areas of insurance, risk management, and employee and labor relations. He served as a corporate Ombuds managing employee relations and workplace conflicts. Dr. McEwan also teaches a course in Conflict Management at the University of Phoenix.

Dr. McEwan is a member of the national Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR) and has served in leadership positions in the Hawaii Chapter of ACR. He is also a board member of The Mediation Center of the Pacific and Chair of the Mediation Centers of Hawaii. He also has served in leadership positions for the Society of Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriters (CPCU Society) at the national and local levels.

Dr. McEwan holds a Ph.D. in Applied Management from Walden University and M.B.A. from Western New England University. He holds several specialty designations in insurance. He participates regularly in mediation training for continuous education and as training support.
