    Kobayashi Sugita & Goda

    Craig Shikuma, Esq. graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor’s of Science degree (cum laude) in Mechanical Engineering. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Hawaii, William S. Richardson School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review for two years. Mr. Shikuma is currently a partner with the law firm of Kobayashi Sugita & Goda. His practice concentrates in commercial, construction, real property, employment and personal injury litigation. To a lesser degree, he has also assisted clients with respect to real estate developments.

    Mr. Shikuma has been lead counsel in numerous cases involving major construction defect disputes, complex commercial transactions and allegations of employment discrimination and wrongful termination. He has been lead or co-lead counsel in jury trials in the areas of construction, employment and personal injury litigation. He has also litigated injunction trials relating to commercial transactions. He has been lead counsel in, or handled significant portions of, numerous arbitration hearings and mediations involving real estate and commercial transactions, construction claims, personal injury claims and employment disputes.

    Mr. Shikuma has served as an arbitrator in cases involving commercial transactions and personal injury claims. Mr. Shikuma is currently on the Commercial Panel of the American Arbitration Association and the Court Annexed Arbitration Program.
